libmodem-vgetty-perl software package provides Perl module for interfacing with vgetty (Modem::Vgetty), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmodem-vgetty-perl
libmodem-vgetty-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmodem-vgetty-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmodem-vgetty-perl *
You will get with libmodem-vgetty-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
